From the Foreign Minister (Erik Scavenius) to the King's Private Secretary (A. Krieger, chamberlain)

Letter

Nr. 6371
Dear Mr. Chamberlain [A. Krieger],

With regard to the telegram received from the President of the national Armenian delegation in Paris [Boghos Nubar Pasha] to His Majesty the King [Christian 10.], the Foreign Minister has inquired to the Swedish government and the Norwegian government if similar telegram had been received and, if so, what action was contemplated by the Swedish and Norwegian sides on this account.

The Foreign Ministry has now received an answer from the Royal Diplomatic Minister [O. Krag] in Kristiania [Oslo] to the effect that the appeal has been received there but was not answered, while a message has been received from the Swedish side through the Royal Legation in Stockholm informing that His Majesty King Gustaf's [Gustav 5.] private secretary has answered that His Majesty had received the telegram and handed it over to the Foreign Minister [Johannes Hellner]. The Foreign Minister has then decided to do nothing about the matter.

Yours truly

[Erik Scavenius]
